STURTEVANT, Austin Dwight

 

Austin Dwight Sturtevant. 1816-1897. First principal of the Dearborn School, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. My great-great grandfather, he arrived in Chicago in 1838 and was a teacher and the first principal of the Dearborn School and later was a police court magistrate in Chicago.
