WITT, George W.

 

George W. Witt was born on April 21, 1841 in Kane, Illinois.  He was married three times and had 13 children.  He was a farmer most of his life and served in the Illinois Legislature representing the 38^th  District from 1900 to 1906.  He died at the home of his son-in-law, Dr. S. F. March, in Carrollton, Illinois on February 23, 1932.
