KILORAN Katherine Kenny

 

My great-grandmother, Katherine "Kitty" Kenny (1865-1894), born 1865 in Morgan Co., IL to Irish immigrants Michael Kenny, from Co. Laois, Ireland and his wife Mary Marley Kenny, from Co. Donegal, Ireland, who married in Sangamon County, Illinois in 1854 and had 13 children. Kitty married Patrick Kiloran in 1891 in Jacksonville, Illinois, but sadly died of pneumonia in 1894, leaving a husband and two young sons.  Photo taken in Jacksonville, Illinois, probably about 1890.
