Seek contact with other descendants of Alexander Hamilton, born Ireland (perhaps Strabane, County Tyrone) about 1768. He came to PA about 1798, then to Henry County, IL in 1839 with his two sons, Alexander B. and James Steele, and two daughters. He died 18 Mar 1849 in Cornwall Twp, Henry County.
