Would you like to be a "Genealogy Angel"?
 
Through the Angel Project, ISGS will purchase items needed by the Illinois State Archives and the Illinois Regional Archive Depositories (IRAD) to assist researchers in using the record collectons at those sites.
 
In the past, Genealogy Angels have allowed ISGS to purchase several thousand microfilm reels for the State Archives and IRAD. With the changing technology, we want to insure these records remain accessible to genealogists. This could mean new equipment to read microfilm or transferring microfilmed recrods into a new format. ISGS will work closely with the State Archives to identify their needs in regards to these collections.
